LANCASTER, Ohio — Dec. 5, 2025 — The Fairfield County Foundation has announced its most successful “36-Hour Give” to date, raising an unprecedented $945,784 during its annual Giving Tuesday event. With the help of $100,000 in matching funds, this year’s total impact reached $1,045,784 for local nonprofits and community funds.

The marathon fundraising effort kicked off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 2, and concluded 36 hours later on Dec. 3 at 8 p.m. Organizers say donations surged well beyond expectations, marking an 83% increase over last year’s total.

This year’s momentum was boosted significantly by a generous matching gift from the Lloyd F. and Diann L. Helber Fund, which Foundation leaders say helped energize donors across the county.

“The special matching gift from Lloyd and Diann Helber really generated great excitement for the Give this year,” said Fairfield County Foundation CEO Amy Eyman. “We are so grateful for their generosity and that of every single donor who came out or donated online during the 36-hour window. We have raised nearly $3 million through these events — and when you add the Foundation’s match, that’s more than $3.4 million invested in our community.”

The “Give” tradition began in 2014 as a way to commemorate the Foundation’s 25th anniversary. Since then, it has grown into a major annual fundraiser, rallying thousands of residents and donors to support causes throughout Fairfield County.

A summary chart detailing year-over-year results of the Foundation’s Give events is available on the organization’s website.
