
CIRCLEVILLE — The Circleville Police Department handled 41 calls for service on December 3, 2025, ranging from extra patrols and welfare checks to traffic stops, warrant activity, and two reported structural fires.
Overnight and Early Morning Activity
Officers conducted numerous extra patrols throughout the city in the early morning hours, including on North Court Street, Sycamore Drive, Kingston Pike, and U.S. Route 23. Several alarm drops on South Court Street and West Franklin Street were checked and cleared without issue.
At 2:06 a.m., officers responded to North Pickaway Street, where a warrant-related incident resulted in a report taken. A short time later, at 2:50 a.m., a warrant call on East Franklin Street resulted in a GOA/Unable to Locate.
Shortly after 4:00 a.m., officers conducted a well-being check on Pleasant Street. EMS responded but did not transport.
A traffic jam reported at 5:37 a.m. on North Pickaway Street was also cleared.
Late Morning and Afternoon Calls
Officers responded to Stoutsville Pike at 8:24 a.m. for a traffic offense, with a report taken.
A structural fire on North Court Street at 10:38 a.m. resulted in the scene being cleared.
A 911 hang-up on East Franklin Street was checked and found to be accidental. Additional well-being checks and civil process service calls were handled through midday.
A disturbance on Second Avenue did not require a report.
Just after 1:15 p.m., officers responded to U.S. 23 South for a theft in progress, where a report was taken.
Calls for a suspicious vehicle, a noise complaint, and a miscellaneous complaint followed.
Evening Traffic Stops and Reports
Circleville officers issued multiple traffic warnings throughout the early evening, including stops on Clinton Street, South Court Street, East Main Street, and Lancaster Pike.
At 7:55 p.m., officers responded to South Court Street for property damage, and a report was taken.
A late-night well-being check on Half Avenue was cleared as okay.
Multiple alarm drops on East Main Street were checked or canceled prior to arrival.
Fire and Utility Call Closed Out the Night
At 11:35 p.m., firefighters responded to a structural fire on East High Street, which was contained and extinguished.
A natural gas or electric concern on South Scioto Street near midnight prompted a mutual aid squad request, but the scene was ultimately checked and cleared.
