SOUTH BLOOMFIELD, OH — November 30, 2025

The annual Topple the Truck toy drive once again proved to be one of Pickaway County’s most impactful holiday charity events, drawing strong community support and collecting more than 1,105 toys and $2,745.36 in donations during Saturday’s 14-hour event.

Held for its 14th consecutive year, the toy drive took place on Saturday, November 29, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. at Buckley Brothers on South Walnut Street in South Bloomfield. Families stopped by throughout the day—many during special Santa meet-and-greet hours—to drop off new toys and support the cause.

Hosted in partnership with the Pickaway County Community Action Organization (PICCA), the long-running event helps ensure local children receive gifts during the Christmas season. PICCA distributes the toys to families across the county who might otherwise go without during the holidays.

Topple the Truck is the single largest contributor of toys to PICCA every year,” organizers emphasized, noting the increasing need for assistance countywide.

While this year’s collection total surpassed a thousand toys, PICCA noted that its goal for 2025 was around 1,400 toys, and donations are still needed as requests for help have risen.

To make giving easier, donation boxes remain available throughout Pickaway County:
