CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Pickaway County Public Health has announced a new initiative aimed at reducing overdose deaths and promoting community wellness — the installation of three Harm Reduction Vending Machines across Circleville, with a fourth machine on the way.
The machines, available 24/7, provide free and confidential access to a variety of lifesaving and wellness supplies, including:
- Naloxone (Narcan) kits
- Fentanyl test strips
- Safer sex kits
- Hygiene and first aid kits
- Winter and summer care bags
- Bottled water, pregnancy tests, and more
The vending machines are located at:
📍 Hope Valley Recovery, 1235 S Court St
📍 Circleville Vineyard Church, 911 S Pickaway St
📍 Integrated Services for Behavioral Health, 1145 N Court St
A fourth location will be announced soon.
“These machines are about compassion, access, and hope — giving people the tools they need to stay safe and connected to care,” said Tiffany Singer, Emergency Preparedness Coordinator and PORT Coordinator.
The project is funded through the Ohio Department of Health’s Integrated Harm Reduction Grant (IH25) and coordinated by the Pickaway Overdose Response Team (PORT). The program represents a broader community effort to make health resources more accessible and reduce barriers to care for individuals at risk.
Pickaway County Public Health plans to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the official launch in the coming weeks.
