
CIRCLEVILLE, OHIO — Circleville Police handled 43 calls for service on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, ranging from extra patrol checks to more serious incidents including a reported assault, a fight, and a theft.
The day began with several overnight extra patrols across the city, including checks on North Court Street, West Main Street, and Lancaster Pike. Around 12:46 a.m., officers served a warrant on Lancaster Pike, and later issued a traffic citation on South Washington Street.
At 5:21 a.m., emergency crews responded to a fire/EMS alarm on Lancaster Pike, where one person was transported to the hospital. A short time later, police and medics were called to Villa Drive for a reported assault, with another person transported to a hospital for treatment.
Throughout the morning, officers handled alarm drops, parking complaints, and property releases. Around 11:39 a.m., police investigated a theft in progress on Morris Road and took a report. A reported disturbance on Villa Drive was gone on arrival.
Later in the day, officers responded to multiple calls including telephone harassment on East Franklin Street, a fight on Barry Drive, and a domestic trouble complaint on East Franklin Street, with reports taken in both incidents. Police also documented a runaway juvenile case on John Street.
The evening hours saw additional calls for well-being checks, juvenile complaints, and threats/harassment on East Union Street. Officers also served civil paperwork on South Scioto Street and North Washington Street. The last call of the night was a disturbance on South Court Street at 11:40 p.m., which was resolved without a report.
