CIRCLEVILLE, OH — Families across Pickaway County are in for an evening of excitement, exploration, and education at the upcoming Touch-A-Truck and Hands-On Fun event, hosted by Inspiration Station in partnership with OhioHealth. The free community event will take place Thursday, July 10, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at 1170 North Court Street in Circleville.
Designed to spark curiosity and encourage community connection, the event gives children the chance to get up close and personal with a wide range of vehicles — including fire trucks, police cruisers, a dump truck, and even a Ghostbusters-themed vehicle.
Beyond the big rigs, kids of all ages can enjoy a variety of interactive activities:
- Free face painting by Color Me Happy
- Inflatable fun zones
- STEM stations with rocket building, boat races, and more
- Photo booth to capture memories
- Free popcorn and snow cones, with food available for purchase from local favorites like Jonesey’s Meats & Sweets, Mamaw’s Kitchen, and Tattooed and Cold Brews
Inside the Inspiration Station, families will find hands-on learning exhibits and a chance to connect with community organizations offering educational resources and services.
“Inspiration Station is all about learning through doing,” said Alexis Conrad, committee member and executive director of the Pickaway County Community Foundation. “We’re thrilled to bring families together for an event that’s not only fun but also sparks curiosity and community pride.”
Casey Liddy, president of OhioHealth Berger Hospital, echoed the community-focused spirit of the event. “As a hospital and a community partner, we’re proud to support events that bring families together and encourage children to explore, imagine, and learn,” Liddy said.
The event is free and open to the public. In case of rain, activities will move indoors to ensure the fun continues.
