Early in the day, at 12:49 a.m., officers responded to a disorderly conduct call at Sherman Park. A report was filed, with no further details provided. Around the same time, at 1:11 a.m., a crash was reported at the intersection of Safford Avenue and Buckeye Street due to a failure to control a vehicle.
At 3:49 a.m., police were dispatched to 311 E. 2nd Street following a nuisance complaint involving disorderly conduct and intoxication that created a risk of harm. The investigation is ongoing.
Later, at 6:59 a.m., a vandalism report came in from N. Bridge Street regarding a damaged vehicle, with the investigation still active. The day saw multiple traffic-related incidents, including crashes on N. Bridge Street at 9:45 a.m., S. Paint Street at 10:29 a.m. due to a failure to yield while turning left, E. Water Street at 2:09 p.m. for not maintaining an assured clear distance, and N. Hickory and E. 2nd Street at 3:57 p.m., where a citation was issued for a non-injury crash. Another crash occurred at Woodbridge and Arch Street at 11:13 a.m. due to failure to control and weaving, with the investigation pending.
A non-suspicious death investigation was initiated at 10:41 a.m. at 1017 Akron Street and remains under review. At 11:06 a.m., officers responded to Sherman Road, though no specific offense was listed. Another non-criminal incident was reported at 11:11 a.m. on N. Bridge Street, resulting in a crash report.
Disorderly conduct reports continued throughout the day. At 3:00 p.m., officers were dispatched to 999 Dayton Street, Apt. F, for an active disorderly incident, and at 7:20 p.m., a similar call came from 609 Laurel Road. Both investigations are ongoing.
At 6:44 p.m., an officer observed a male drinking what appeared to be alcohol behind 61 N. Bridge Street, leading to an investigation involving charges of open container, criminal trespass, and a warrant. Later, at 9:07 p.m., a trespass complaint was reported at McDonald’s on 40 N. Bridge Street, with the investigation still active.
The day concluded with two traffic stops. At 11:36 p.m., a stop was conducted near Bridge Street and Hopetown Road for an unobstructed license plate, with the investigation ongoing. At 11:56 p.m., a traffic stop on N. Rose Street led to an arrest on a warrant.
