CIRCLEVILLE, OH — June 13, 2025
It was a picture-perfect summer night in Circleville as more than 150 people turned out for the first Movie in the Park — and it was anything but your average movie night!
Hosted by the City of Circleville and a crew of awesome local sponsors, the Friday night event kicked off around 7:30 p.m. with good vibes, games, and snacks galore. By the time the sun went down and Moana 2 lit up the screen at 8:30 p.m., the park was packed with families lounging on lawn chairs and cozy blankets.
The Hampton Inn of Circleville stole the snack spotlight, cooking up 300 hot, fresh waffles topped with whipped cream and sprinkles — a total win with the kids (and let’s be honest, the adults too). Not to be outdone, Zanzis Pizza served up slices, while popcorn and drinks flowed freely thanks to the generosity of OhioHealth, Mega Bites, RJ Wright & Sons LTD, and Friends of Ted Lewis.
Circleville Fire Department and Police showed up rolling in the big new Ladder truck some of the kids took some time to climb into the epuipment and check it out.
The fun didn’t stop at food. M3K Real Estate Network brought the party with a treasure trove of giveaways — from toy airplanes to light-up yo-yo balls. And just when you thought it couldn’t get better, the team from Reality handed out glow sticks, turning the park into a sea of glowing colors once the movie started.
Best of all? Mother Nature showed up too — with no rain and perfect temps for an outdoor movie night.
