CIRCLEVILLE, OH — May 9, 2025 — Sunrise Rotary presented a $1,000 donation to Jo Welsh, president of Bottoms Up Diaper Bank, during her visit to the club on Tuesday, where she spoke about her organization’s mission to provide diapers to families in need.

The donation marks the start of a broader community initiative, as Sunrise Rotary and Bottoms Up have teamed up to host a diaper and wipes drive now underway through May 31.

Diapers are sometimes not covered by government assistance programs, and many families are forced to choose between food, rent, and keeping their babies clean and dry.

Local residents are encouraged to support the effort by donating diapers and wipes at several drop-off locations throughout Circleville, including Circleville Chiropractic Center, JoyHouse Coffee, all Savings Bank branches, and the Lutheran, Presbyterian, and United Methodist churches.

The Bottoms Up Diaper Bank serves communities across central and southern Ohio, working with churches, schools, and other partners to distribute diapers to families in crisis.
