Phyllis Marie Walker, 80 passed away December 21, 2017. She was born on October 29, 1937 in Circleville, the daughter of the late Walter and Pauline (Hazelwood) Jones, Sr. She was a member of the Second Baptist Church, a proud Ohio State Buckeye fan and was retired from Reynolds Aluminum. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Walter Jones, Jr., Loretta Phifer, Betty Jones, Bobby E. Jones; brother-in-law, Paul Hill and sister-in-law, Wanda Jones. Phyllis is survived by her children, Karen Walker, Greg Walker and Robin Wells; 2 brothers, Billy (Gloria) Jones of Dayton, Kenny (Diane) Jones of New York; sister, Charlotte Hill of Circleville; brother-in-law, Gary Phifer of Circleville; 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held 12:30 p.m.
Thursday December 28, 2017 at the Second Baptist Church with Pastor Derrick Holmes officiating. Burial will be in Forest Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Wellman Funeral Home in Phyllis’s name.
