CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio — Bluegrass fans from across Ohio and beyond will once again gather in Pickaway County later this month as the 7 Mile Bluegrass Festival returns to the Pickaway Agriculture & Event Center for a weekend of live music, camping, and community support.

Now in its second year at the venue, the festival has grown from a grassroots fundraiser into one of the region’s premier bluegrass events, while continuing its mission of helping local veterans.

The four-day festival begins with an informal jam session on Wednesday evening before a full schedule of performances Thursday through Saturday featuring more than 20 bluegrass acts. Headlining this year’s event is the 7 Mile Bluegrass Band, alongside nationally recognized performers including Lonesome River Band, Lorraine Jordan & Carolina Road, The Little Roy & Lizzy Show, and Larry Efaw & The Bluegrass Mountaineers

Organizers encourage visitors to bring lawn chairs, enjoy festival food, and experience the family-friendly atmosphere that has made the event a favorite among bluegrass enthusiasts.

Rather than charging a traditional admission fee, attendees are asked to donate six or more nonperishable food or personal care items to benefit Veterans in Transition and the Chillicothe VA, helping provide assistance to veterans in need.

On-site camping with electric and water hookups will be available throughout the festival, giving visitors the opportunity to stay for the entire weekend. Those preferring hotel accommodations will find several lodging options available in and around Circleville.

The Pickaway County Visitors Bureau is partnering with the festival to promote the event and encourage visitors to explore local restaurants, attractions, and businesses while in the area.

Festival organizers say the event offers more than just music, bringing together performers, campers, and families for a weekend centered on community, tradition, and supporting a worthy cause.

Additional information, including daily performance schedules and camping registration, is available through the festival organizers.
