Chillicothe, Ohio – March 10, 2024 – A young man from Chillicothe tragically lost his life early this morning in a single-vehicle accident on Biers Run Road.
The Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash, which occurred at approximately 1:21 am. According to reports, a 2008 Toyota RAV4 driven by 19-year-old Kayden D. McWhorter was traveling northwest on Biers Run Road when it veered off the right side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a road sign and then collided with multiple trees.
Mr. McWhorter sustained fatal injuries in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The Ohio State Highway Patrol was joined by the Ross County Sheriff’s Office, Ross County Coroner’s Office, and Union Township Fire and EMS in responding to the accident.
