Fairfield – A 19-year-old has died after crashing his motorcycle on Sunday
According to Ohio state highway patrol a 2009, Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycle, operated by Lawson Miller, 19, of Carroll, was going east on Lithopolis Road near Pickerington Road. Miller went left of center and struck a 2019, Ford Ecosport SUV, operated by Trevor Knotts, 23, of Lancaster, as it was going west. Miller’s motorcycle went off the left side of the road and caught fire. Knotts’ vehicle sustained severe damage and came to rest on the road.
Miller was pronounced deceased at the scene. Knotts was not injured.
Impairment is not suspected to be a factor.
Bloom Township Fire/EMS, Fairfield County Coroner’s Office, and the Fairfield County Sheriff’s Office were on scene
