Ross County OH- Serious Rollover Crash on U.S. 50 Details Released

CHILLICOTHE – The Chillicothe Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle rollover crash on US 50, just east of Lancaster Road, which occurred at 1:35 P.M. on Sunday, August 23, 2020.

A 2005 Toyota 4Runner, driven by Brandon Park, age 32, of McArthur, Ohio, was traveling westbound on US 50. The vehicle traveled across the centerline, went off the left side of the roadway, struck a cable box, struck a tree, and overturned. Mr. Park and the rear passenger, a juvenile, suffered minor injuries and were transported to Adena Regional Medical Center by Liberty Township EMS.

The front passenger, Aprille Park, 32, also of McArthur, was entrapped for an extended period of time, forcing US 50 to be closed in both directions. Mrs. Park was flown to Grant Medical Center by MedFlight.
The Liberty Township Fire Department and EMS, along with The Harrison Township Fire Department and EMS, and the Ross County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene. The Ohio Department of Transportation assisted with the road closure and rerouting traffic
