ROSS – A Meth Lab is out of business tonight because of a officers follow up investigation.

According to Ross County Sheriff George W. Lavender Jr., “One of my patrol officers went 6202 Lower Twin Road for a follow up on an investigation and discovered items consistent with the production of Methamphetamine.”

Investigators were then able to obtain a search warrant for the residence and a motor home on the property. They confiscated an active Meth Lab, suspected Methamphetamine, items used in trafficking drugs, drug abuse instruments, suspected stolen property, and a firearm.

A total of 5 people were arrested on various charges and further charges will be filed pending lab results and the completion of the investigation.

George W. Lavender Jr. said, “I would also like to thank the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office and the Ohio Highway Patrol for their assistance.”

Names of those who were arrested were not available at time of posting but I will edit this post when they become available.
