William Anthony “Tony” White, 62, of Ashville, passed away on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2015, in Lancaster.

He was born on March 10, 1953, in Jacksonville, Florida, to William and Clara (Berry) White.

He was an Army veteran, member of Harrisburg Pilgrim Holiness Church, a 1972 Amanda-Clearcreek graduate and was a former firefighter/EMT with Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Department.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by son, Shane White; and a granddaughter, Emily Conner.

Tony is survived by his father; wife, Nancy Carol (Lemaster) White; children, Tracy (Jamie) Hunt, Carla (Lon) Stacy and Kelly Conner; 10 grandchildren, James and Leslie Hunt, Kendall Stacy, MacKenzie Hunt, Aaron Stacy, Nettie, Allen and Melissa Conner, Olivia Stacy and Samantha Conner; three great-grandchildren, Shane Hunt, Luke Tomlison and Tinsley Hunt; brother, John White; sister, Connie (Paul) Karl; sister and brothers-in-law, Mary Lemaster, Barb (Bobby) Welsh, David (Patty) Lemaster and Danny Lemaster; and by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home, Circleville, with Pastor Richard Smith Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Harrison Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
