– An employee of Berger Hospital reported a subject just left the parking lot in a vehicle driving erratically and may be impaired. No report was taken.

– A caller reported a group of suspicious juveniles riding bicycles in the area of Barnes Avenue and South Washington Street. Officers advised the subjects checked OK.

– Officers responded to a property damage accident at West Main and Scioto streets.

– A resident in the 200 block of Island Road came to the police station to report she had been threatened by a known male subject. The Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office was then called to the scene regarding a scam that occurred at Walmart. An informational report was taken.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at the Savings Bank on North Court Street. The scene checked OK.

– A caller in the 100 block of Highland Avenue reported smoke coming from an outside air conditioning unit. The fire department handled the scene.

– A resident in the 300 block of Clark Drive reported a known female subject would not stop calling and harassing him. The officer made contact with the subject and advised her.

– Two 911 callers reported a vehicle fire in front of the doors at the Auto Zone on West Mound Street. The fire department handled the scene.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Taco Bell on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK, and employees were advised to be more careful around the hold-up button.

– A caller reported a pipe sticking out of the middle of the intersection at Maplewood Avenue and Huston Street. The water department was advised.

– A resident in the 400 block of East Ohio Street reported a known male subject stole her child’s bicycle. Officers were unable to locate the subject. A report was taken on theft.

– A resident in the 400 block of North Scioto Street reported receiving an email from Canada stating his identity had been compromised. The officer advised someone hacked his email. No report was taken.

– A resident in the 300 block of South Scioto Street reported a suspicious male walking through the yard asking weird questions. Officers located the subject, and the scene checked OK.

– A man came to the police station to turn in a wallet he found inside a residence he was renovating in the 600 block of South Scioto Street. A report was taken on found property.

– A resident in the 300 block of Faye Avenue reported she was locked out of her vehicle and house, and her elderly mother needed assistance inside. A report was taken on a vehicle lock-out.

– A caller in the 600 block of South Court Street reported a cat in her back yard that had been shot with an arrow. A report was taken on animal cruelty.

– Virgil Keaton Jr. was arrested in the area of South Court and Town streets on a warrant for theft.

– A 911 caller reported that a resident in the 200 block of Mace Street dragged her daughter into the house by her hair and was beating her. Officers advised there was no sign of abuse, and the juvenile checked OK.

– A resident in the 100 block of Logan Street reported she was having a vehicle fixed, but it was not fixed properly. She refused to pay for the service, and the mechanic was refusing to give the vehicle back without payment. The caller advised it was a civil issue.

– A caller reported juveniles loitering in the area of the 900 block of South Pickaway Street. Officers were unable to locate the subjects.

– James McGowan Jr. was arrested on a warrant for failure to appear for pretrial in the 400 block of North Scioto Street.

– Officers responded to an activated alarm at Aldi’s on U.S. Route 23. The scene checked OK.

– An employee at UDF on East Main Street reported a male subject drove off without paying for his gas purchase. A report was taken on theft.

– A 911 caller reported he smelled something electrical burning in his residence in the 400 block of East Main Street. The fire department handled the scene but found nothing burning.

– A resident in the 100 block of Hayward Avenue reported her 15-year-old son was being unruly and causing problems again. The juvenile was advised of his behavior, and a report was taken on an unruly juvenile.
