James Michael “Mike” Jordan, 54, of Groveport, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, Dec. 30, 2016.
He was born Oct. 3, 1962, in Columbus, and was the son of Arnold Lee Jordan and Barbara (Jarvis) Osborn.
Mike was formerly employed by BLS Trucking as an area manager.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tammy (Berry) Jordan; daughters, Heather (fiancé Zachary Mead) Jordan and Stevi (Joshua Churchheus) Jordan; grandchildren, Kaleb, Piper, Bayne and Willow Johnson, Cyrus Starner, Monroe Jordan and River Churchheus; mother, Barbara Osborn of Grove City and her children, Sherri (Randy) Christian, Tamara (Gary) Clark, Melisa (Rob Laughlin) Osborn, Shannon (Kevin) Massey, Shane (Valerie) Osborn, Joshua (Avee) Osborn, Jerry and Jacob Osborn; stepmother, Gwen Jordan and her children, James Chaffin, Linda Brock, Connie Dennen, Lori Jordan and Jason Jordan; and numerous nieces, nephews and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Arnold Jordan; stepfather, Emanuel Richard Osborn Sr.; son, Chadd Michael Jordan; and brothers, David Osborn, Richard Osborn Jr. and Brian Jordan Sr.
Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 5, 2017, at the Taylor Funeral Home in Amanda with Pastor Chris Hildenbrand officiating. Burial will be in Tarlton Cemetery. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
