Ohio State Trooper Circleville Division Trooper of the Year

(CIRCLEVILLE) – Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper Eric D. Holbrook has been selected 2019 Trooper of the Year at the Circleville Post.

The selection of Trooper Holbrook, 31, is in recognition of outstanding service during 2019 at the Circleville Patrol Post. Fellow officers stationed at the Circleville Post, chose Trooper Holbrook based on leadership abilities, professional ethics, courteous treatment of others, enthusiastic work attitude, and cooperation with supervisors, peers, and the public.

Trooper Holbrook is now in contention for the District and State Trooper of the Year Award to be announced at a later date.

Trooper Holbrook joined the Highway Patrol in 2012 and has served at the Jackson, Chillicothe, and Circleville Posts. Originally from Circleville and a graduate of Logan Elm High School, Trooper Holbrook graduated from Shawnee State University with Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Criminology. Other Highway Patrol awards received in the past include: Physical Fitness Award, Criminal Patrol Award, Ace Award, Safe Driving Award, and was previously voted as post trooper of the year in 2015.

Trooper Holbrook and his wife reside in Circleville with their three children.
