The Ohio Department of Natural Resources Closes Parts of Hocking State Forest

In response to the developing public health situation with COVID-19 and the Ohio Department of Health’s (ODH) guidance, the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Forestry has closed the following areas.



At Hocking State Forest: All trails are closed as are the rock climbing and rappelling area, fire tower, day-use bridle areas, and horse camp.

Also, all fire towers are closed. This includes fire towers at Blue Rock, Mohican, Scioto Trail, Shawnee, and Zaleski State Forests.
