Franklin County Busts Racketeering and Drugs, Victims Totaling Over 3,000

HILLARD – A 10-month long investigation, lead to nine arrests this week when Franklin county SWAT helped stop nine people that were involved in drugs and racketeering.

According to Franklin County sheriffs office seven search warrants were conducted across Central Ohio as part of the investigation, which estimates more than $500,000 was stolen from the victims, largely through mail theft, and renting properties with stolen or fraudulent identities. FCSO SWAT aided Hilliard PD by serving a search warrant on Longlining Road in Néw Albany where investigators seized fraudulent and stolen documents, credit cards and IDs, 5-firearms, and more than $7-thousand dollars in cash.
