Week in Review – Top Incidents
Dec. 9, 2019
*DOA, 54-year-old female with multiple heath issues, Coroner signed off.
*Larceny, 6647 Winchester Rd, Non-Active theft from Walmart Canal from December 1st.
*Larceny, Ashford Ln, Mail was taken from mailbox including packages.

Dec. 10, 2019
*Information Report, Caller stated they purchased an object that was round and made of iron. They took it to an antique dealer to try and determine what it was. They believed it was part of a (military) cluster bomb. Columbus FD Bomb Squad responded and took control of the item.
*Deer accident, Miller Farm Run/Oberle Ave, 1 car deer accident.
*Deer accident, Miller Farm Run/Oberle Ave, Vehicle hit same deer as previous report.
*Vandalism, Fairview Rd, Caller advised his rental cabin was damaged over the weekend by tenants who rented the cabin.
*Units also assisted Pickerington Police on a possible shooting. Upon arrival it was found that the victim was shot in Columbus and drove home, then requested for medics to respond to his home in Pickerington.

Dec. 11, 2019
*Auto Accident w/injuries: Winchester Rd. @ Waterloo St., 3 car accident with injuries.
*Stolen Vehicle, Mudhouse Rd., Caller stated his 12’ dump trailer was taken.
*Theft, Royalton Rd., Caller stated several fraudulent bank charges on his account.
*Injury Accident, Wright Rd. and School House Rd.
*Burglary, Ginder Rd. Caller advised that he was not at home for a few days and upon returning it appears as if his home was ransacked and he was missing some money and multiple firearms.
*Stolen Vehicle, Coonpath Rd. NW – 2018 Jeep Cherokee was stolen from this lot by a known subject. Franklin County located the vehicle with a driver at Eastland Mall where it was crashed. The suspect (a juvenile) is a student at the career center where the vehicle was stolen. Franklin County arrested the Suspect and impounded the crashed vehicle.

Dec. 12, 2019
*Injury Accident, Lamb Rd. NW, Single vehicle crash. Vehicle went off of the roadway and struck a tree. Occupant was injured and was transported to a medical facility.
*Theft, Gender Rd., Male detained at Kroger ref. to theft.
*Theft: 6647 Winchester Blvd: Caller stated a male subject attempted to steal items. Subject left in a red Kia w/2 other males in the vehicle. The Deputy located the males in the parking lot of Walmart. The Deputy detained one male and another male was trying to flee on foot. He deployed his taser; but the male was able to avoid the taser and fled on foot towards Panera. The Deputy was able to catch up to the male and take him into custody.
*Structure Fire, 143 Oak St (Bremen) no injuries or foul play reported. Red Cross contacted.
*Stolen Vehicle, 800 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester (BP), 2012 Burgundy Honda Accord, was stolen from the pumps while the driver was inside. Keys were with the vehicle.
*Non-Injury Accident, 2900 Columbus-Lancaster Rd. (Meijer),
*Two vehicle non-injury accident on the lot of Meijer.
*Theft, Silverbrook Dr. Reportee alleges that over $5,000. was removed from her bank account. No known suspects right now.

Dec. 13, 2019
*Injury Accident, Lithopolis Rd. and Gender Rd., Single vehicle accident on its top. Non serious injury to the female driver.
*Burglary, Setter Ct., Caller states forced entry and items taken.
*Theft, 6647 Winchester Blvd., Caller states a male subject exited the store with electronics. Deputy was able to make contact with the subject in front of Chipotle.
*Injury accident, 6939 Hill Rd, 2 cars minor injuries.
*Accident, Refugee/Milnor Rd, 2 cars non injury
*Accident, 6358 Gender Rd, 2 cars non injury.

Dec. 14, 2019
*Vandalism, S. Crosset Hill Dr., Caller stated his residence has been spray painted.
*Auto Accident, Bauman Hill Rd., minor injury accident, single car rollover.
*Burglary, Carroll-Eastern Rd., Caller states entry made through an unlocked window and items taken.
*Burglary, Orchard Dr, Caller advised an unknown female was in her home. Caller advised she had the female held down and at gun point. Units responded and a female that was under the influence of a narcotic had entered the wrong residence. Female was arrested.
*Traffic stop, 33 bypass/ 22 ramp. Female was arrested for a warrant out of the city, upon arrival at the jail subject was found to have multiple packages of narcotics hidden on her person.
*Accident, 6161 Gender Rd, 2 cars non injury.
*Injury accident, Gender/ Winchester Blvd., 4 vehicle injury accident.

Dec. 15, 2019
*Larceny, 2900 Columbus-Lancaster, Theft from Meijer.
*Vandalism, Old Logan Rd, Caller advised he heard a noise and went outside and found his back window busted out.
*Larceny, Pleasant Way, Caller advised he lost his wallet last night and found his credit card had charges show up on the card today.
*Larceny, 6647 Winchester Blvd, Theft from Canal Walmart. Suspect has been caught multiple times at different Walmart’s shop lifting.
*Level 1 snow emergency was issued due to the road conditions.
