Eugenia Evelyn Bauer, 98, of Chillicothe, died 12:50 a.m. Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Traditions of Chillicothe.
She was born April 24, 1919, in Ross County to the late Howard W. and Nannie Clingman Miller. On February 20, 1938, she married Charles Lester Bauer who preceded her in death February 18, 1986.
Surviving are children, Charles L. (Helen) Bauer Jr., Kansas, Mary Lou Bauer, of Virginia, David A. (Anya) Bauer, of North Carolina; and Gordon D. (Gloria) Bauer, of Chillicothe and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sharon Diamond; brothers, Glen and Howard Miller; sisters, Norma Hunt, Betty Jane Miller, and Ruth Kreiger.
Evelyn attended Tyler Memorial United Methodist Church.
Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Sam Mincey officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call at the WARE FUNERAL HOME from 11- 1 p.m. prior to the service on Tuesday.
