Dublin – More than $100,000, cocaine, crack, pills and a stolen firearm are off the street after an arrest by the Dublin Police Community Impact Unit (CIU) in collaboration with the Columbus Police SWAT Team.

With assistance from the Columbus Police SWAT team, Dublin Police CIU served a search warrant at 2078 Mock Road on August 7, 2019, and seized six guns (one stolen), more than $106,000 in cash and illicit drugs.

“Our agency prides itself in working collaboratively with other departments like the Columbus Division of Police on addressing drug trafficking,” said Dublin Police Chief Justin Paez. “This was an excellent example of our investigators working to keep drugs out of Dublin and guns off the streets and out of our community.”

Mickyle A. Cephas, 28, has been charged with one count of Trafficking in Drugs, Possession of Drugs, Weapons under Disability and Receiving Stolen Property. He appeared in court Thursday, August 15, and additional charges still may be filed.
