COLUMBUS – A man was shot and robbed of cash after answering a online buy/sell/trade group Offerup for a playstation he wanted to buy.
On March 6,2019 around 9:20 pm 25 year old Kyle Haseley was found lying in the street after a 911 call and Columbus Police Shotspotter detected a gun shot in front of 1161 East 21st ave close to Linden Park in Columbus. Haseley was found suffering from a single gun shot wound and transported to local hospital in critical life threatening condition.
According to Columbus Police the investigation found that Haseley went to the area to meet a seller from a social media sales site Offerup to buy a PlayStation. Witnesses advised that the suspect took money from the victim after shooting the victim.
This incident remains under investigation.
