Athens OH- On 7/10/2020, The Athens City Police arrested Kermit C Cole age 40 of The Plains in connection to the Aggravated Robbery that occurred at 707 W Union Street on 7/09/2020. Athens Police would like to say thank you to the Athens County Sheriff’s Office and the Athens County Special Response Team for their assistance in the apprehension of Kermit Cole.
Previous Article- On 7/09/2020 at 2000hrs Athens Police Department responded to 707 W. Union in reference to an Aggravated Robbery. A white male entered the business and presented a handgun to the employee. The male is being described as thin build with a buzzed haircut and tattoos up each arm. The male was wearing blue shirt, blue jeans and white tennis shoes with blue and black markings. The male fled the area in a white 2010’s model Ford Escape.
