Chillicothe, OH – Sarah McGraw, a recent graduate of Zane Trace High School, has been honored with the 2024 Ross County Conservation League (RCCL) scholarship, receiving a $1,000 award. Sarah, the daughter of Kellye McGraw of Chillicothe, was presented with the scholarship at the League’s general membership meeting held at Brown Hollow Lodge in July.
Sarah, who plans to attend The Ohio State University, Newark Branch, will major in animal science and zoology as part of a pre-veterinary program. The RCCL scholarship, a longstanding tradition for over 20 years, recognizes outstanding students pursuing studies in environmental science, conservation, or related fields.
The award was presented by RCCL President Sarah Winegar and Scholarship Chair Nelson Coleman. The Ross County Conservation League is a 501(c)(4) tax-exempt organization dedicated to promoting sportsmanship, adhering to fishing and game laws, protecting wildlife, conserving natural resources, and supporting land conservation efforts.
