ORIENT – According to scanner traffic police were called to the scene around 5 pm this evening to a possible homicide from a home invasion of a 82 year old woman.
Police are still on the scene of Ballah road between US Route 62 and the railroad tracks police have been on the scene for several hours. Crime tape and a crime investigation unit is on the scene.
It is now confirmed that the 82 year old woman was murdered in her home around the time of late Saturday night to Sunday morning. Police are still on scene and investigating this crime, if anyone has any information on this please contact police.
