BREMEN, Ohio — Fairfield County is set to capture a significant portion of a new statewide economic expansion, bringing over 200 high-paying manufacturing jobs to the area.
Governor Mike DeWine, Lt. Governor Jim Tressel, and Ohio Department of Development Director Lydia Mihalik announced the approval of 13 economic development projects across Ohio. The initiatives—approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA) in partnership with JobsOhio—are projected to create 3,553 new jobs and generate more than $1.1 billion in private investment statewide.
A central highlight for Fairfield County is the major commitment by Westerman, Inc. in the Village of Bremen.
