OHIO – Walmart announced today that they will reward Ohio Walmart Assoicates with 5.17 million during the pandemic.
The company says that they are giving out these bonuses and adjustment because of the, “men and women serving on the front lines of these unprecedented times.”
Walmart also said in a press release that they have hired over 200,000 associates nationwide since March 19.
Some of this money came from a,”accelerate the payout for our quarterly incentive, which store, club and supply chain associates received today.” This plus, “addition to the special cash bonus for all U.S. hourly associates earlier this month, which was $300 for full-time hourly and $150 for part-time hourly, a total of more than $365 million paid to our associates.”
