PICKAWAY – Around 4:30 pm on Tuesday February 11, 2020 an accident occurred at the intersection of US23 and Little Walnut located in South Bloomfield.
According to police the Green Toyota Prius was Northbound on US23 in the left hand lane, the black Ford Fusion was traveling westbound on Little Walnut road and attempted to cross over US23 to head Southbound on US23 the Fusion driver failed to yield at the stop sign and was struck in the middle of the drivers side by the Prius.
The driver of the Ford was transported to Grove City methodist by Harrison Township fire with only minor injures and the driver of the Prius was not transported and only sustained minor injuries.
Police reported that both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash. Both drives were local to Ashville area. The Fusion will be the at fault party for the crash.
