Pickaway Township, OH – A chain-reaction crash on Tarlton Road involving three vehicles left one driver with suspected serious injuries and two young children hurt on October 27, 2025, at 5:10 p.m., according to a Pickaway County Sheriff’s Office report.

Natasha Kathleen Miller, 35, of Stoutsville, was driving a black 2008 Dodge Durango westbound when she rear-ended a blue 2000 Saturn stopped in the roadway. The Saturn, driven by Adam McNichols, 62, of Circleville, had paused to turn into his driveway in the 5000 block of Tarlton Road while waiting for oncoming traffic.

The impact pushed Miller’s Durango into the eastbound lane, where it collided head-on with a gray 2019 Chrysler passenger van driven by Holly A. Congrove, 34, of Circleville. Congrove was traveling with her two children, 9, and 8. Congrove suffered suspected serious injuries and has to be extricated from her vehicle. She was airlifted by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus. Congroves’ children sustained suspected minor injuries. Miller was taken by Circleville Fire/EMS to Berger Hospital, while the children were transported by Saltcreek Township EMS to Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

McNichols reported possible injuries and was treated at the scene. All occupants were wearing seat belts. Airbags deployed in the Dodge and Chrysler, but not in the Saturn.

Miller was cited for failure to maintain reasonable control. Deputies noted she was following too closely. No alcohol or drug impairment was suspected, and all drivers were described as apparently normal.

The Dodge and Chrysler sustained disabling damage; the Saturn had minor damage. The Chrysler was towed by Amnesty Towing. The scene, located 200 feet east of house number 5761 on a straight, dry, two-lane asphalt road under daylight and cloudy conditions, was cleared by 6:59 p.m.Deputy Alfredo Magana investigated, arriving six minutes after the crash was reported. The incident remains under review.
