Circleville, Ohio – A two-vehicle crash at the intersection of US-23 and the connector near Sheetz left one man with serious injuries on Thursday morning, September 26, 2024. The accident occurred around 8 a.m., according to a report from the Pickaway County Sheriff’s Department.
Authorities say the crash involved a 2009 Ford Flex, driven by Raymond Ezell, 37, of Circleville, and a 2011 Hyundai Accent, driven by William Ball, of Ray, Ohio. Ezell was heading southbound on US-23 and attempting to make a left turn at the connector when he collided with Ball, who was traveling northbound on the highway.
Both vehicles came to rest in the intersection following the collision. While Ezell sustained minor injuries, Ball suffered serious injuries and was transported to Grant Medical Center in Columbus for emergency treatment.
Ezell has been cited by law enforcement for failing to yield the right of way, which led to the crash.
The incident remains under investigation.
