PICKAWAY COUNTY, OH — After a strong showing during its inaugural drive last year, the Sunrise Rotary Club is preparing for its second annual Diaper Drive with an even bigger goal: to collect 40,000 diapers and wipes for local families in need.

The 2025 drive will run throughout the month of May, with all donations going directly to Pickaway County residents at no cost. Last year’s effort resulted in the donation of 30,000 diapers and wipes.

Sunrise Rotary is once again partnering with the Bottoms Up Diaper Bank, which will handle the storage and distribution of the donated items.

Event organizer Suzie Ebenhack recently addressed the club, encouraging members to serve as donation coordinators through their local churches or organizations. Volunteers are asked to deliver collected items to The Presbyterian Church in Circleville.

Ebenhack emphasized the critical need for diapers, particularly in sizes 5, 6, and 7. “One in three families in the United States struggles to afford diapers,” she said, noting that families with multiple children may spend up to $80 per month per child on diapers alone.

“The community really stepped up last year to help Pickaway County residents, and I’m confident we can do it again,” Ebenhack added.

Donations can also be made through the club’s Amazon Wishlist: https://amzn.to/3YVchKi
