STOLEN: Over 7000 Rounds of Ammo From Auction House in Ross County

BAINBRIDGE – A auction has been canceled after an overnight theft of thousands of rounds of ammo along with other items for sale and personal items from the Business.

According to a Facebook post from the Fitzpatrick’s Auction Center auction house, 7000 rounds of ammo, tools, electronics, silver, and gold jewelry costing the shop thousands of dollars. The auction house has reported that it would have to cancel the upcoming auction on Saturday, August 21st.

Ammo and Military items were described as: “OVER 7000 ROUNDS OF AMMO TO INCLUDE .22 LOMG, .22 MAG, .22 WIN AUTO, .22 HORNET, .222 REMINGTON, .223/5.56, .22-250, 6MM REMINGTON, .257 ROBERTS, 7MM MAG, .30 CARBINE, .308, 30-06, .32ACP, .380 AUTO, .38 SPL, 9MM, .40 S&W, .45 ACP, .45 GAP, .44 MAG, .460 S&W, .410 GA, 28GA, 20 GA, 12 GA, HOLSTERS, AMMO CANS, SEVERAL CIVIL WAR BOOKS, MILITARY TRUNKS, VINTAGE MILITARY OUTFITS, AND MUCH MORE.”

The auction house is asking for anyone with information or sees a large amount of ammo come up for sale to express leads to Ross County sheriff’s office.
