Sonic Drive-In has stepped into the competitive fast-food market with the introduction of its new “FUN.99” menu, aimed at providing affordable options amidst rising prices due to inflation.

The menu, priced at just $1.99 per item, features a range of popular and new offerings designed to cater to diverse tastes and budgets. Customers can now enjoy a Quarter Pound Double Cheeseburger, Chili Cheese Coney, Queso Wraps in two delicious varieties – Bacon Ranch and Southwest Crunch, Small Tots, and any 16-ounce shake, all for the affordable price of $1.99 each.

Highlighting the new additions, the Bacon Ranch Queso Wrap includes crispy all-white meat tenders, crisp bacon, melty cheddar cheese, creamy ranch, and white queso wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Meanwhile, the Southwest Crunch Queso Wrap features crispy all-white meat tenders, creamy Southwest sauce, crunchy tortilla strips, cheddar cheese, and white queso in a soft flour tortilla.

Ryan Dickerson, Chief Marketing Officer of Sonic, emphasized the menu’s commitment to variety and affordability. “At Sonic, we wanted to offer something different and fun with our new $1.99 Menu, or FUN.99 Menu,” he explained. “It’s about giving our guests more choices without compromising on taste or value.”

In addition to the menu launch, Sonic is rolling out exclusive offers through their app, including half-price drinks and slushes with every app order, half-price classic Sonic Cheeseburgers on Tuesday nights, and monthly rewards for app users.

The FUN.99 Menu is now available nationwide at all Sonic Drive-In locations, marking a new era of value and enjoyment for fast-food enthusiasts looking to stretch their dollars without sacrificing flavor or variety.
