Self-Driving Shuttle Unveiled Today in Columbus

COLUMBUS – A new type of shuttle has been unveiled in Columbus today, a driverless one.  Aimed at servicing downtowns Scioto Mile for now, this low speed transit is the first test for driverless cars in Ohio.

The vehicle is equipped with sensors and cameras and top speed is 25 mph.  Plans for this shuttle include transportation to locations like COSI, Bicentennial Park, and National Veterans Memorial.  According to the project information from DriveOhio
