Schools Close Monday as Snow and Ice Grip Southern Ohio

SOUTHERN OHIO — Several school districts across southern Ohio have announced closures for Monday, December 15, 2025, as lingering snow and icy conditions continue to make travel hazardous following a heavy winter storm.

Officials say freezing temperatures have kept roads and sidewalks slick, prompting administrators to prioritize student and staff safety.

Sheriff Departments continue snow levels today

Among the schools announcing closures:

PICKAWAY COUNTY – Level 2 snow Emergency

  • Pickaway-Ross Career & Technology Center — Closed
  • Circleville City Schools — Closed
  • Teays Valley – Closed
  • Westfall High School – Closed
  • Logan Elm School – Closed

Fairfield County – Level 1 Snow Emergency

Amanda Clearcreek Local Schools – Closed

Fairfield Union Local Schools – Closed

Liberty Union-Thurston Local Schools – Closed

Walnut Township Local Schools – closed

Ross County – Level 2 still at 12/14/25

Bishop Flaget School – Closed

The Pioneer School will be closed on Mon., Dec. 15

Southeastern Local School District – Closed

Fayette County – Level 1

Fayette County Christian School – Closed

Miami Trace Local Schools – Closed
