Ross County – Chillicothe police arrested a man who was wanted, when he was arrested officers found illegal items that turned into more charges against him
According to the Chillicothe police department on Sunday, November 23, 2023, officers received information that Vonte Jackson was staying in an apartment in the 200 block of Clay St, Chillicothe, OH. Jackson had an active warrant for his arrest through the Columbus, Ohio Police Department for Aggravated Arson.
Officers responded to Clay St and contacted Jackson, who was taken into custody without incident for his warrant. As part of the this incident, officers located other evidentiary items that will require additional testing which may result in additional charges.
After police arrested Jackson he was charged with having a weapon under disability, and possible drug charges. He is currently being held in Ross County Jail
