Chillicothe, OH – A report of a stolen bicycle and lawn mower led to the arrest of Blake Madru, who was taken into custody on June 24th.

According to the police report, the stolen items included a black and blue G.T. Aggressor Pro bicycle and a new gray Milwaukee battery-powered push mower. Both items were recovered.

Madru was stopped by police while riding the stolen bicycle and claimed to have purchased it from Lindsey Allen. However, Allen denied selling the bike to Madru.

During the investigation, officers searched a garage at 286 Yoctangee Pkwy, with the owner’s consent, where the stolen lawn mower was found. Both stolen items were returned to their owner.

Madru was charged with one count of receiving illegal stolen property related to the bicycle and was transported to the Ross County Jail. He was served a copy of his warrant for case #CRB 2400534 (FTA on failure to comply) and is scheduled to appear in Chillicothe Municipal Court.
