CHILLICOTHE, Ohio — The Ross County Health District is opening its doors this weekend to support local families with a unique community event.
The Public Health Nursing lobby is hosting a Free Store tomorrow, Saturday, August 1, from 8:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The event is entirely free and open to all members of the community.
Located at 150 E. Second Street in Chillicothe, the temporary storefront will feature a wide variety of essential items. Attendees can browse through a selection of gently used men’s, women’s, and children’s clothing, as well as shoes, accessories, and household goods. All items are available on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
In addition to the clothing and goods, the health district is prioritizing community wellness. Every person who attends the event will be eligible to receive a free wellness kit valued at $30.
Organizers encourage residents to arrive early to browse the selection.
