Republicans Post Circleville Second Ward Position after Vacated Position

Circleville – A position for Circleville City Council was posted this week after former Circleville Mayor Don Mcllroy who was elected to the seat sent in a letter of resignation.

The Pickaway County Republican Central Committee is seeking
a qualified applicant for the position of
2nd Ward Council Member
City of Circleville
The Council Member would serve as a member of Circleville City’s
Legislative Authority representing the citizens of Circleville’s 2nd Ward
for the term of office expiring 12/31/25. Duties are primarily
legislative and include enacting legislation, appropriating funds,
adopting the city budget, approving labor contracts, and populating
some city boards and commissions.

*Council members are assigned to serve on certain committees:
Safety, Service, Finance, Judicial and Strategic Planning

*Candidate will represent the constituents of the 2nd Ward during meetings and
hearings with other government officials.

*Candidate must be a Qualified Republican voter and resident of Ward 2 in the
City of Circleville.
