Betty R. Kerns, 76, of Circleville, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at Pickaway Manor.
She was born Feb. 9, 1939, in Circleville, the daughter of the late Ralph and Elizabeth (McFarland) Hunt.
Betty was a member of Emmett Chapel Church where she had been Sunday school secretary for 50+ years.
She was an avid baker who was known for her award-winning cakes, cookies and pies which she entered in Pumpkin Show and the Ohio State Fair. She volunteered for 10 years at Berger Hospital and 12 years at Mt. Carmel West. Betty also enjoyed playing bingo.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015, at Hitler-Ludwig Cemetery with Pastor Billy Barbo officiating.
