Delbert H. Dutcher, 72, of Circleville, passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015, in Columbus, following a brief illness.
He was born March 2, 1943, in Columbus, the son of Henry and Margaret (Caplinger) Dutcher.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and a granddaughter, Emma Marie Pringle.
Delbert was a 1961 graduate of Hamilton Twp. High School and retired from RCA with 35 years service. He enjoyed fishing, computers, NASCAR racing, tinkering around with things and making desks, clocks and various other items out of wood.
Delbert loved having his family around and especially enjoyed family cookouts. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Delbert is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Dolores (McCloud) Dutcher: children, Mike (Johnna) Hurley, Diane Dutcher, Doug (Amy) Dutcher, Rod (Felicia) Dutcher and Roxanne (Casey) Pringle; 13 grandchildren, Amanda, Ashley, Jessica, Aaron, Nick, Cory, Jessica, Evan, Joseph, Colton, Dream, Kalyna and Izzy; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at Defenbaugh-Wise-Schoedinger Funeral Home with Pastor Tad Grover officiating. Burial will be in Jackson Twp. Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
