Lincoln Thomas Alexander Johnson

Lincoln Thomas Alexander Johnson, 22, of Circleville, passed away at 8:59 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 1, 2015, at Dover Air Force Base where he was stationed.

He was born April 3, 1993, in Norman, Oklahoma.

Surviving are his mother, Bonnie Johnson, and her fiance, Eric Kirk, both of Circleville; father, Joseph T. Johnson and his wife, Erin, both of Maryland; a brother, Caleb Robert Johnson and his fiancee, Heather Bailey, both of Dover, Delaware; paternal grandparents, Thomas and Carol Johnson of Chillicothe; an uncle, Jon Whiley and his wife, Julie, both of Chicago, Illinois; and a great-uncle, Ernie Johnson, of Youngstown. He leaves behind many friends and family of the paintball community and many of his air force family and friends around the world.

Lincoln was an Airman First Class and Paralegal in the United States Air Force. He graduated on June 13, 2014, from basic training at Lockland AFB with Flight 379. Lincoln was an avid paintball player and had played for the Ohio State University’s Paintball Team. He was a member of the XCAPE Paintball Family and Paintball Team 120 in Arkansas.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Reese officiating. Burial will follow in Schooley’s Chapel Cemetery, where military graveside rites will be conducted by the Wright Patterson AFB Honor Guard. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
