Jack R. Jahn, age 72, died on Sept. 22, 2015.
He was born on Feb. 12, 1943, to the late Walter and Helen Jahn.
Jack proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps.
Jack was a lifelong farmer and an independent driver for 35 years distributing the Columbus Dispatch. In his spare time, he enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, gardening and truck and tractor pulls.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Carolyn McCarley.
He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Alice; son, Ronald (Debbie) Jahn; daughter, Deana (Matthew) Hafey; granddaughters, Dana (Jonathan) Schmidt and Sarah Jahn; great-grandchildren, Logan and Laney Schmidt; siblings, Virginia (Dan) Paine, Sue (Bill) Hennig, John (Rosalie) Jahn and his twin brother, Jim (Jackie) Jahn; and many nieces and nephews.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 27, 2015, at Schoedinger Grove City Chapel, 3920 Broadway, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Sept. 28, 2015, with Pastor PJ Rings officiating. Interment in Concord Cemetery.
