Alice Mamie Stant, 80, of Circleville, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2015.
She was born on May 6, 1935, in Circleville, to Robert and Faye (Byers) Shirey.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Shirey; her mother, Faye Smith; first husband, Roscoe Blankenship; and her husband, Pearl L. Stant, to whom she was married for 16 years; daughter, Theresa L. Blankenship; and siblings, Norma, Betty, Sally, Harold and Ted.
Alice is survived by her children, Rick (Nancy) Blankenship, Kristy (Mark) Martin, Tony (Mindy) Blankenship, all of Circleville, Gregg (Theresa) Blankenship of Georgia and Shelly Cramblit of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Rick, Rachel, Amy, Angie, Andy, Sarah, Brian, Kyle, Tyler, Patience, Levi and Lacey; her great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life, Ali and Addie, Shayna and Seth, Makenah and Aiden, Scott and Snow, Kylea and Billy; and siblings, Vickie Rash of Cincinnati and Robert Shirey of Circleville.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2015, at the Wellman Funeral Home with Pastor Ted Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Hitler Ludwig Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
