Julieanna M. “Julie” Bivens, born June 29, 1960, found peace in her body, mind, and soul on Sept. 10, 2015.
Julie was a kind, warm, loving person who treated everyone like family and loved her children and grandchildren with all that she was.
Julie loved the outdoors, going hiking, and always dreamed of visiting Alaska. Julie was a hard working, dedicated employee of Keihin Thermal Technology in Mount Sterling.
She is survived by her three children, Anthony “Tony” Bivens, Kimberly “Kim” Birtcher and Ronald “RJ” (Stacy) Slone. Julie had six grandchildren, Honesty, Blaine, Dustin, Jordan, Peyton and Callie. She is also survived by her father, Harry; brothers, Jimmy and Corky; and sisters, Jeannie and Christy.
There are no words to express how deeply Julie will be missed. All that we can say is that we are better people because we knew her.
A visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 14, 2015, at the Porter-Tidd Funeral Home in Mount Sterling.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Julie’s name to the American Stroke Association (envelopes will be provided), or donate to the American Heart Association.
