Judy G. Jude, 70, of Kingston, went home to be with her Lord 6:35 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 6, 2015, peacefully at her residence surrounded by love.
Judy was born Dec. 25, 1944, in Red Jacket, West Virginia, to the late Dewey and Thelma Edwards Chumley.
On July 5, 1966, she married Bill R. Jude, who survives. Also surviving are children, Gail Kohler of Kingston, Kevin Jude of Ashville, Cristal Bush of Kingston and Renae (Larry) Waller of Chillicothe; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; sisters, Frances Caudill of Columbus, Rena Hamilton of Chillicothe and Karen Chumley of Kingston; brothers, Jackie (Mabel) Edwards of Gahanna, Jack David ( Beverly) Chumley of Shalimar, Florida, and Bobby Joe Chumley of Chillicothe; a host of nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Kenny Chumley of Pickerington and a special niece, Misty Strausbaugh of Chillicothe; and a very special friend, Mary “Lou” Reed of Laurelville.
She was predeceased by brothers, Bobby Edwards and Phillip and Jimmy Chumley; and a sister, Jane “Sissy” Holbrook.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Pastor Greg Gardner and her brother Jack David Chumley officiating. Burial will follow in Green Summit Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the funeral home.
