Larry A. Eyre, 57, of Chillicothe, died 3:15 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 2, 2015, at his residence following an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 14, 1957, in Franklin County, to David L. and Gloria M. Blazer Eyre.
Surviving are his mother, Gloria M. Eyre of Chillicothe; former wife and mother of his sons, Marcia Eyre of Chillicothe; sons, Jeremy (Tanya) Eyre of Circleville and Justin A. (Amy) Eyre of Bainbridge; grandchildren, Brian, Skylah, Kiley, Ariah and Abigail; a brother, Charles (Trudy) Eyre of Chillicothe; and sisters, Brenda (Bob) Gordon of Chillicothe, Sharon Simkins of Bainbridge and Teresa Eyre of Cincinnati.
He was predeceased by his father, David L. Eyre.
Larry was the former owner of Douglas Industries. He was a member of Scioto Lodge #6 F&AM, All Chillicothe York Rite Bodies, the Aladdin Temple Shrine of Columbus, the Ross County Shrine Club and the Scottish Rite Valley of Columbus.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 5, 2015, in the Ware Funeral Home, Chillicothe, with Pastor Glen Laessle officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Frankfort. Friends may call from 5 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Ware Funeral Home, where there will be a Masonic Service at 7 p.m.
